Our Return Policy

Textbook Refund Policy - Deadline for Refunds on all Textbooks is the September 3, 2024 (Add Drop Date)

Item needs to be in the same condition that it was sold, If wrapped in plastic it still needs to be wrapped in plastic, access codes can not be scratched, no water damage, etc. 

E-Books - 14 Days. If a publisher code is given from VitalSource and is opened we will not be able to process a refund.

All textbooks purchased or rented after September 3, 2024 are final sale.

Merchandise Refund Policy - We are happy to accept returns for any merchandise items purchased online through the Merrimack College Bookstore, only with prior return authorization and is within 14 days of purchased (this return policy excludes textbooks)

Online orders purchased for in-store pickup are ineligible for refund if not claimed by the return deadline.

In order to receive a full refund, purchases must be postmarked by the return deadline. *Gift card purchases are final purchase, all sales final and non-refundable. Please note that the original cost of shipping will not be refunded unless prior authorization has been given.

The item must follow all requirements of in-store returns (see Refund Policy above). Return package must include original receipt of purchase, all tags, and original packaging, and all items must be in original, resalable condition.

Return shipping is at the cost of the customer, unless it is due to the error of the Merrimack College Bookstore and proper authorization has been obtained. Return shipping refund can not exceed our Standard Shipping rate of $12.95. Receipt of return shipping cost must be included to receive a refund.
